How to use
Using Jenny Mod is a two-step job: install a mod loader (Forge on Java, or enable behavior packs on Bedrock), then place the mod files and launch through the matching profile. First interaction happens by holding a Diamond, an Emerald or a Gold Ingot and right-clicking on Jenny.
Java: install Forge and drop the mod in place
Download the Forge 1.12.2 installer from the official Forge site or the CurseForge app and pick Install Client.
Open the Run dialog with Windows + R, type %appdata%\.minecraft\mods and press Enter. Create the mods folder if it does not exist, then drop the Jenny Mod .jar inside it.
Launch Minecraft, select the Forge 1.12.2 profile from the version menu at the bottom-left and click Play.
Bedrock, Windows 10/11 and mobile
Double-click or tap each downloaded .mcpack or .mcaddon file; Minecraft opens automatically and imports it.
Create a world (or edit an existing one) and enable the Jenny Mod entries in the Resource Packs and Behavior Packs lists.
Turn on Experimental Gameplay options such as Holiday Creator Features and Upcoming Creator Features before entering the world.
First interaction
Find Jenny inside her spawn house in the Plains. Hold Diamond, Emerald or Gold Ingot in the main hand and right-click on her to open the dialogue window. Each of these items produces a different reaction.
From the dialogue window you can talk, gift or issue commands like Follow, Stay or Guard.
Performance tip
On Java, if the game feels heavy on 1.12.2 with the mod loaded, raise the allocated RAM. Open the Minecraft Launcher, go to Installations, edit the Forge profile, expand More Options and change -Xmx2G to -Xmx4G.
